    Hi Michael,
    Great interview….

I couldn’t get the name of third competitor (after intonow and civolution). Can you please name it?

    Thanks

    • Michael Collette says:

      Rags,

There are several companies that provide ACR technology.
Shazam provides audio fingerprinting for companion apps on connected devices.
Umami just came out of stealth and are also focused on companion apps.
Audible Magic has a developed business using audio watermarks for anti-piracy and are now starting to make moves in companion apps and possibly also ACR TV.
TV Interactive Systems and Bulldog United are both focused on video fingerprinting for one screen ACR-TV apps.

Not sure which one of those was the third company in the video, but that’s the list that I have.

  2. Michael Collette says:

Try it now. Not the best job of self-videography, by the way. I may have to stick to writing!

Your note is fortuitous. Was just thinking that it would be interesting to hear what you guys are up to. Let me know if anyone would like to discuss.

    Cheers,

    M
